The countdown to Christmas has officially begun! We made a snowy village which Matthew has
assured me will be the first of many. This one he named, Thomas’ Snowy Day. The trees are small pine branches from outside that we painted and stuck into stands made of salt dough. The snow is crushed packing peanuts. The trains are thrilled to be a part of this project as it been awhile since the Matthew-is-obsessed-with-trains era. In a strange way I will miss the hunt of finding rare trains for him this holiday season.
