Skeleton School

Matthew had a friend over to build gingerbread Halloween houses. There is a lot of candy eating that goes into building them, as well as patience to get everything just so, and turning a blind eye to the mess accumulating on the floor.

His was a ‘skeleton school’.  He made a door outlined in purple frosting and bat shaped candy. He was appalled to learn that the door did not open and close. I thought that maybe it didn’t open and close because it was a ‘ghost school’ and they can walk through walls.  His theory was that the skeletons have the day off from school so the door is closed. I think that maybe he is right.
