Imagine the happiness I felt when Matthew came home from
school with a paper that said the thing he was most thankful for this Thanksgiving
was his mommy and daddy. True his answer was written in his teacher’s hand but
this was more personal than what he said he was thankful for last year, which
his answer was home.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving I wrote down things we were
all thankful for ( there are many!) on strips of construction paper which we
taped together. It is now hanging in the kid’s room above Matthew’s bed.
